Missionary Conference, Ulm, MONTANA… March, 1980

A note in a church bulletin this summer triggered a fond memory in my heart.  I pulled back the cover on my bed and took this picture:  I was speaking in a great Bible preaching church in what the Internet identifies as a “census designated place”, too small to be described as a town or even a village. The population is still just over 700.  Back in March of 1980 it was a thriving church with a vision for reaching their community, Montana and the uttermost part of the earth!  A small but still lasting and appreciated token of that missionary vision was the quilts the ladies had made and given to each missionary at that conference.  I was one of those so blessed.
