God sometimes answers even BEFORE we pray!

I couldn’t help but think of this promise that God gave to His people back in the book of Isaiah in His promises of the restoration of the Kingdom.

Isaiah 65:24 declare “it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”

Just a few years ago the U. S. Government changed the policy regarding the ‘Survivor Benefit Plan” under which Eleanor has been receiving a pension for her husband’s military service.  Bill served our country as a combat fighter pilot.  Since Eleanor has already reached the age of 55 when we get married, she will be entitled to benefit from this pension as long as she lives.  What a miraculous way in which our Lord has chosen to meet our financial need!  Eleanor will not loose her pension as a result of our marriage as we had been led to believe.

We just can’t thank Him enough.  And we are so thankful that one of our friends read this previous blog post and sent us word of this provision.  (I wonder sometimes how many folks, or if anyone is reading these :))

Eleanor will loose her insurance coverage and we will trust our Lord for the finances to purchase that.  But we are confident that our Lord has that under His control as well.

What a mighty God we serve!

I met you years ago at a missions conference at Open Door Baptist Church in Richmond VA. The Lord used to to incredibly impact me and my family for missions. My youngest daughter will be going to Bolivia in March to serve full time. We are thrilled that she is right in the center of God’s will for her life. I do read your blog so don’t stop. Just thought you might want to know you do have a follower of your blog in me. 🙂 Merry Christmas, and Happy Wedding, sheli.
