Unlike most of the physicians we see these days, Dr. Mockler was fair skinned, sandy haired and looked for all the world like a native citizen. But as soon as he spoke I knew he was not born in the USA. “What part of Canada are you from?” we asked.
“Halifax, Nova Scotia” he answered.
As we talked, he made it clear that he could teach nobama, pullosee and their comrades in the US Congress a thing or two about their ideas on health care. Our new Canadian friend was very disappointed that the very thing he came to America to get away from is coming at us like a steam roller!
But not as sad as this native born, flag waving, card carrying Southern American!
