We had a great weekend in Leesburg last week. I had great liberty in preaching from the 8th chapter of the Book of Acts. There was much positive feed-back on my warnings regarding Harry Potter… and there were a few nervous looking folks. Especially when I read Deuteronomy 18:10-12. I am quite concerned at the lax attitude among Christians about wizards, witches and sorcerers. But I don’t have the last word on it. But He Whose name is AMEN does have that last word and He has given it in Revelation 9:21; 21:8 and 22:15.
There were 2 people who came forward to receive the Lord at the invitation and I talked at length with a young man from a Bible college about tribal missions!
THANK YOU for praying for us. Harriet had another battle with the recurring boils.
We got this one before it caused her as much misery as the last one that put here at death’s door and 4 days in the ICU. In here thru-the-Bible reading she “just happens” to be in the book of Job. I assure you, she has a lot more sympathy and understanding for his afflictions these days. And she knows where boils come from!
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. Job 2:7
